Five automatic plans

There are twelve-month plans on the first or fifteenth, a ten-month plan February through November on the first, an instalment-due-date plan and an approved arrears plan on each month’s last business day. Normal instalment months are February, April, June and September.

Taxes normally must be current to join except for arrears. There is no joining fee. Plans continue each year until cancelled, but must be cancelled and reapplied for on a property move. The arrears plan does not stop the stated 1.25% monthly penalty and interest.
