CHOOSE YOUR SHIFT
Shifts are matched to each client's needs, and any of these may be offered to you:
- Overnight: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (12 hours)
- Full day: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (12 hours)
- Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (4 hours)
- Afternoon: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (4 hours)
- Evening: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (4 hours)
You must be available for 4-hour shifts. Longer shifts, including 12-hour days and overnights, are offered when client needs allow, and many of our caregivers pick them up to build more hours. This is a part-time and as-needed (PRN) role, and many caregivers grow into full-time hours as they settle in.

THE WORK
HomeWell helps seniors and others in the Oakville area stay safe and comfortable in their own homes. You'll provide non-medical support that protects clients' dignity and independence, and you'll be a steady, friendly presence in their day. If you enjoy building real relationships and want your work to matter, you'll fit in well here.
Day To Day, You'll
- Help with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Give medication reminders
- Cook meals and assist with walking and transfers
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Support daily routines and respond to behaviors with patience and empathy
- Do light housekeeping to keep the home safe and tidy
Who Does Well Here
- Kind, patient people with strong communication skills
- Comfort with meal prep and dietary needs
- 1 to 3 years of caregiving experience preferred (CNA, HHA, PCA, and professional caregiver experience all count)
- Experience with bedbound care and transfers is a plus
- Knowledge of dementia or developmental disability care is a plus
Requirements
- Availability and willingness to accept 4-hour shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Live in or reliably commute to the Oakville area of St. Louis, MO
